Workers' Compensation - Treating On-the-job Injuries

Today, as never before, California employers are faced with the unique challenge of balancing health and safety compliance with the cost of doing business. Rising medical costs, increased exposure to litigation, absenteeism and loss of productivity are all factors that emphasize the need to have a qualified medical doctor working for your company.

Methodist Hospital's Occupational Health Services Department offers qualified, experienced medical providers who are "savvy" workers' comp professionals specializing in treatment of on-the-job injuries. Our bilingual Occupational Medicine Specialist is familiar with the special needs of injured workers and their employers and plays an important role in our program.

Many injuries may not occur during the normal 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. work day, but may occur during evenings and weekends. After-hours services, provided through Methodist Hospital's Emergency Department, with referral to one of our Occupational Health providers the next business day, ensure timely comprehensive care.
