OtisKnee Total Joint Replacement

With this surgery, an orthopedic surgeon removes the arthritic or damaged joint and replaces it with a custom-fit knee, matching the size and placement of the implant to each patient's unique and normal (nonarthritic) knee anatomy. This means the knee fits the individual patient and only that patient. The result, says Dr. Howell, is a faster and less painful recovery, a quicker return to normal living activities and a more natural feeling knee.

"It feels good, it feels right. I trust it already (four weeks after surgery)." ~ Lee G.

"Now I can walk without pain. I can go up and down stairs without holding onto something and being in pain. I play with my grandchildren. I ride my bike. I'm able to be more active and not be in pain. My physical therapist was completely amazed by the progress I made." ~ Ann C.

"I've been amazed at the dramatic results I've seen since my custom fit knee replacement. From day one, I was able to walk on my own without a cane. By week two, I was able to return to work and even commuted there on my motorcycle. By week three, I was back on the golf course. What's more, I was able to do all of this without any physical therapy." ~ Richard B.
