Rehabilitating Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Injuries
Physical and occupational therapy programs include special exercises vital in restoring movement, strength and function to a problem area, particularly for sports-injured patients and individuals recovering from reconstructive surgery. At Methodist's Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Center, we offer a new, innovative program for total joint replacement patients called Ortho Camp. This program includes specialized individual and group treatment activities to help you regain function so you can return home with the best possible results. We also provide a home health nurse or physical therapist, when necessary, following your discharge.
