Speech and Swallowing Therapy


Advanced evaluation and customized treatment of adult diagnoses including

  • Dysphagia-difficulty swallowing
  • Voice disorders
  • Motor speech disorders
  • Modified barium swallow studies
  • Problems associated with stroke including:
    • Dysarthria: Slurred speech or speech that is slow and difficult to understand
    • Apraxia: Neurological disorder causing difficulty controlling the muscles that create speech
    • Aphasia: The inability to comprehend and/or communicate through speech, writing or signs
    • Cognition/communication

Pediatric services include complete evaluation and treatment, as well as comprehensive parent/caregiver education and training.

  • Oral motor impairment
