Pediatric Concentrated Care Unit
Methodist Hospital's Pediatric unit provides acute and concentrated care for children who require constant observation, monitoring or complex treatment. We recognize the importance of family and offer a family-centered pediatric unit that meets the needs of both your child and your family. We encourage parents to participate in their child's care and have found that this plays an important role in the quick recovery of your child.
Our pediatric unit is staffed with registered nurses skilled in providing expert pediatric care. In addition, pediatric intensivists are available 24-hours a day, seven days a week to assist in your child's care.
In addition, UC Davis Medical Center and Mercy have joined forces to improve pediatric care. The Sacramento Bee reports on a new three-year partnership between Mercy San Juan Medical Center, Mercy's Methodist Hospital of Sacramento and UC Davis Medical Center.
