At Mercy Family Health Center, we know you want the best for yourself and your family when it comes to your health. Our expert team of healthcare professionals is here for you, working together to provide the finest care and supporting you as you develop and manage your own healthy lifestyle. We are committed to providing personal attention to you and your families, with an emphasis on high quality, compassionate, and affordable care for everyone - from newborns to the elderly.

Mercy Family Health Center is located adjacent to Methodist Hospital in the south area of Sacramento and serves the Elk Grove, Laguna Creek and Galt communities. We've designed our health center to provide primary care for routine needs, such as preventive medicine, recurrent health problems and injuries.

Please make an appointment in advance of your arrival at the clinic. We do offer our enrolled patients the convenience of same-day appointments for urgent needs and accommodate walk-in patients based on space availability and urgency.

We are a teaching program and strive to maintain a very high quality of care for our patients. We want you as our patient to see the same provider as much as possible so we can follow your care closely and maintain a high level of continuity of care. Once you select one of our teaching physicians, his or her name will appear on your insurance card as your Primary Care Provider (PCP). Prior to your first appointment, you will be assigned to a highly-skilled resident physician who will see you at your appointments, manage and coordinate care your care, and handle referrals. Your resident physician works in collaboration with your PCP to provide you with the high level of quality care you seek.
